The ‘Klinsmanns’ are expected to play a trial match against Vietnam in South Korea in October.
An official of the Korea Football Association said on Oct. 23, 성인웹툰 “The lineup for the October exhibition match against Vietnam remains to be finalized,” effectively confirming that the two teams will face off against each other.
The Southeast Asian Football Confederation, of which Vietnam is a member, said on social media on Oct. 22, “Vietnam, a member of the confederation, will play an exhibition match against South Korea on Oct. 17 to prepare for the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup North and Central America in November.”
This effectively finalizes South Korea’s A-match schedule for 2023.
South Korea will travel to England in September to face Wales (Sept. 8) and Saudi Arabia (Sept. 13). They then return home to face Tunisia (Oct. 13) and Vietnam (Oct. 17) during the October A-Match, 일본야동 before hosting the winner of Singapore-Guam (home, Nov. 16) and China (away, Nov. 21) in November for the second round of the North and Central American World Cup Asia.
The October matchup with Vietnam had been foreshadowed.
With the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup coming up next January, Klinsmann has always wanted to play against teams that drop back defensively. The idea was to find a solution to the dense defenses of the teams they would face at the Asian Cup. This prompted the KFA to organize an evaluation match against Vietnam.
Klinsmann also said in a non-personal press conference with domestic reporters on Oct. 17 that Vietnam will play Tunisia in October. The final confirmation from South Korea and Vietnam is still pending.
South Korea, which is attempting to win its first Asian Cup title in 64 years, is in Group E and will face Bahrain, Jordan and Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Vietnam, who face us in October, have appointed Philippe Trousier to replace Park Hang-seo, whose contract expired in February. Trousier, a Frenchman, led the Japanese national team to the Asian Cup title in 2000. He also led Japan to its first-ever World Cup round of 16 appearance at the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.
Under Trousier, 한국야동 Vietnam has won 1-0 against Hong Kong and Syria.
