Tottenham’s newest duo share hat-trick in 10 minutes

There’s an all-time great prospect who reminds me of a combination of Son Heung-min (31) and Harry Kane (30).

“Will Lankeshire, 18, who broke a record with a hat-trick, has been compared to Kane after his stellar performance for Tottenham,” reported British media outlet TeamTalk on Sept. 29.

Tottenham’s U21s won their Premier League Cup Round of 16 match against Fleetwood Town U21s 6-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, on Sept. 25.

At the center of the victory was Lancashire. Starting as a frontline striker in a 4-4-2 formation, Lancashire opened the scoring in the 29th minute before adding back-to-back goals in the 33rd and 39th minutes to take an early lead.

It came with a meaningful record. According to the report, no player has scored a hat-trick faster than Lancashire since the opening of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It’s no flash in the pan. Lankshire has 18 goals and two assists in all competitions this season. The expectation is that he will make his first-team debut sooner rather than later.

Local media praise poured in. “Lancashire is a promising youngster,” said Tottenham’s dedicated journalist Alasdair Gold on air. He’s still got a long way to go, but he reminds me of Harry Kane,” said Alasdair Gold.

“He’s got a really good touch on the ball. He’s got a really good ball touch and he’s got great finishing ability,” he said, adding that Lancashire has a lot of upside.

Surprisingly, there is another Tottenham prospect who is not far behind Lankshire. That would be Jamie Donley (19). Donley had a stellar game against Fleetwood Town, picking up four assists, including Lancashire’s hat-trick.

Spurs have high hopes for Donley. Donley has scored six goals and 사설토토 provided 16 assists in all competitions this season. He’s already earned a call-up to the first team and has a bright future ahead of him.

Tottenham will be happy to see Lancashire and Donnelly on the rise. If Lancashire and Donnelly continue their current form, Spurs won”t need to spend big money on a replacement for Kane.

The outlook for both players is positive. “As I”ve said before, the pairing of Lankshire and Donley reminds me of the combination of Son Heung-min and Kane,” said Tottenham journalist Alasdair Gold.

“I’ll say it again: Lankshire’s hat-trick was the fastest in the history of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,” he continued, praising the duo’s performance.
