Prigozhin, “Ukrajeon, disgrace we don’t need to be involved”
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Wagner Group, a mercenary company that defected to Belarus after the armed rebellion, has indicated he has no intention of fighting in Ukraine for the time being, Reuters reported.
Prigozhin said on the 19th local time, “What’s happening on the front is a disgrace that we don’t need to be involved in,” adding, “We’ll be able to return to special military operations at some point when we can be sure we won’t shame ourselves.”
Prigozhin then added, “We will make the Belarusian army the second in the world, and we will fight for them if necessary.”
