The winner of the ‘race for 4th place’ stops SK and LG’s 11-game winning streak—Pro Basketball’s best-of-six PO bracket is complete!

The race for fourth place, the last thing on the minds of the near-ending Korean Basketball Association regular season, is finally over. Seoul SK has clinched fourth place and secured home-field advantage in the best-of-six playoffs (PO).

SK secured the win with an 82-62 victory at home against LG in the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association regular season at Jamsil Student Gymnasium on Monday. With 31 wins and 22 losses, 텍사스홀덤사이트 SK has clinched fourth place regardless of the outcome of the remaining one game.

With this, the first through 10th places in the regular season have been decided and the PO bracket has been set. The winner of the best-of-six PO between No. 4 SK and No. 5 Busan KCC will meet No. 1 Wonju DB in the quarterfinals, while the winner of No. 3 Suwon KT and No. 6 Ulsan Hyundai Mobis will face No. 2 LG. This season’s best-of-six PO kicks off on April 4 with the first leg between SK and KCC.

A win on that day would have extended LG’s winning streak to 11 games for the first time in nine years since 2015, but having already clinched second place in the regular season, the team prepared for the PO with energy. SK was led by Jamil Warney’s 21 points and 16 rebounds, while Kim Sun-hyung added 12 points.

In Suwon, visiting Anyang Jungkwanjang defeated home team KT in a tightly contested game, 83-81. KT tied the game at 81-81 on a three-pointer by Heo Hoon with 16 seconds left in regulation. However, on the final possession of the game, Robert Carter grabbed a missed shot by Kim Kyung-won and converted it into a basket for the final score. Jung Kwanjang, already out of the POs, snapped a four-game losing streak against KT with 18 points from Lens Abando and 16 from Carter.
